Snowdome

The first indoor ski slope of its kind in the UK, Tamworth Snowdome is 170m of snowy goodness including separate teaching slopes in the Snow Academy area. Whether you’re an experienced snowboarder who can ride rails with the best of them, an expert skier who knows their snowplough from their parallel turn, or if you’re a novice and want to learn, the Snowdome caters to everyone, with a wide range of equipment hire and lessons on offer. There’s also a large snow play area for children, an ice skating rink, a sledging, tubing and toboggan track, a swimming pool and a climbing wall, making it one of the biggest and best entertainment venues in Tamworth. The centre is open from 9am daily and as late as 11pm on Sunday-Friday and is just a short walk along Riverdrive from our Tamworth Central hotel.
