Shopping centres in Swindon
Essential Information
Covering over half of Swindon’s retail space, The Brunel is the leading shopping centre in town. Over 40 years old, the shopping centre is home to over 100 stores, cafés and restaurants, including big brand names like Boots, Argos, M&S and House of Fraser.
Located in the heart of Swindon in between the train station and the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery, the centre also boasts several independent retailers. These include the likes of The Forum clothing store and Something Different, where you can pick up wonderful gifts, from hand-crafted jewellery to scented candles.
Open from 8am to 9pm Monday to Saturday, the Brunel Shopping Centre is a great place for food and drink too, with dozens of cafés and restaurants on-site, from Chopstix to Eggelicious, Desserts and More.
The nearby Brunel North Car Park has over 700 spaces, with reduced rates for shoppers. And, if you’re staying at our Swindon Central hotel, you’ll be just a 10-minute drive away.
The Parade Shopping Centre
The newest addition to Swindon’s retail scene, The Parade is a pedestrianised shopping street, which is home to some of the biggest high street names including a huge H&M store, Clarks, Topshop and Topman. It’s also a great place to grab a coffee on the go, with Second Cup Coffee Company, Costa and Debenhams café all competing to deliver your caffeine kick.
The outdoor shopping centre is located just a short walk from The Brunel Centre in the heart of Swindon and is a great place to shop for fashion, and health and beauty goods.
Orbital Shopping Park
Located to the north of the town centre in Haydon is the Orbital Shopping Park, a purpose-built home to 22 stores, cafés and restaurants. Fashion fans will love its large stores, which include the likes of Next and M&S, while the clever people at New Look have teamed up with Starbucks to open a coffee shop in the middle of the store. It’s a win-win.
