Unfairly maligned as the host town in hit UK mockumentary sitcom The Office, Slough hasn’t always had the best reputation thanks to Ricky Gervais and his comedy chums. But this Premier Inn guide is here to balance out the equation, keen to highlight the amazing attractions, days out, entertainment and culinary scene right on Slough’s doorstep. From the utterly regal Windsor Castle a short drive away to the amazing sailing, wakeboarding and aqua park at Liquid Leisure, and from gorgeous country parks and gardens to ice skating rinks, trampoline parks, modern shopping centres and cinema complexes, there’s so much to experience that you definitely won’t be left wondering what to do in Slough. Plus, our hotels in Slough are well placed to take in all the action, with plenty of excellent cafés, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs all a short walk or drive away. Ricky Gervais might have painted Slough in a comedy light, but we’re here to show a very different version of our Slough office!
