Ramsgate was one of Britain’s great seaside towns, enjoying its heyday during the 19th century. In recent times, Ramsgate has regained its status as one of the best resort towns in the country, along with the towns of Broadstairs and Margate also on the Thanet coast. Ramsgate is rightly seen as a splendid staycation destination. Visit us at our Ramsgate hotel and make the most of the town’s gorgeous golden beach, gentle waters and great days out, such as the fascinating Ramsgate Tunnels. The town is home to the only Royal Harbour in the UK, which is certainly worth bragging about. And, we may be biased, but for us, the restaurants and pubs around the marina are some of the best in Kent.

Our Ramsgate hotel is in nearby Minster, which is a 10-minute drive from the town centre. If you want to catch a cab, there are several local Ramsgate taxi providers, Andrew’s Taxi Service and Central Cars being a couple of the most popular.
Getting to Ramsgate by road is easy, and the town has good links with Dover and the Channel Tunnel. If you’re travelling by train, Ramsgate Railway Station is at the top of town and sits on the high-speed line, connecting Kent and London, which means you can get to and from St. Pancras in little over an hour.
