When it comes to the Preston theatre scene, you definitely won’t be disappointed. An entertainment powerhouse, Preston Guildhall and Charter Theatre is a real one-stop destination. Home to five food and drink outlets ranging from three-course Italian restaurants to ice cream parlours and cocktail bars, the complex has two event spaces – the 738-capacity Charter Theatre and the 2,034-seater Grand Hall. That flexibility means there’s plenty of diversity in the booking schedule with more alternative, cutting-edge plays and musicals booked alongside mainstream boxing, musicals, tribute nights and stand-up comedy.
