Markets

Running every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm, the Portsmouth City Centre Market is located on Commercial Road near the Cascades Shopping Centre. A popular market for locals, it’s a great place to pick up local fruit, vegetables, meat and fish as well as a wide range of household goods.

Held on the first weekend of each month, the Love Southsea Market is a buzzing, energetic market full of street food, local artists, vintage clothing, antiques and more. Running from 9am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday on Palmerston Road, it’s a short walk from our Southsea hotel and is well worth checking out if you’re in town that weekend.

Also held on the bustling Palmerston Road, the Antiques and Collectables Market runs on the fourth weekend of every month from March to November and on the second Sunday of each month on the High Street from April. It’s an ideal opportunity to pick up an antique bargain or find a quirky gift, with local food and drink trucks and stands on hand serving a wide range of street food.
