The most easterly town in England, Lowestoft is the quintessential seaside resort, having marketed itself as the Sunrise Coast for decades. There are plenty of wide, sandy beaches popular during summer and the Claremont Pier includes a range of cafés, bars, a roller skating rink and an arcade. And Lowestoft acts as the gateway to The Broads, an expanse of man-made rivers and marshes perfect for exploring by boat, yacht, bike or on foot. Our Lowestoft hotel is well-placed to take in all the action, and a short walk or drive to most of the attractions. As you’d expect from a seaside town, the fish is that-day fresh, and there are a wide range of cafés and restaurants serving food from across the globe. Factor in several theatres, a vintage cinema and some excellent bars and pubs, and you’ll quickly realise that you won’t be short of things to do in Lowestoft.
