Eating and drinking
You won’t go hungry in at Glasgow School of Art. Take your pick from all the places to eat and drink on and off campus.

The Vic Café Bar at the Glasgow School of Art is a combination of student union, spacious bar and artsy café. With a largely student customer base, you’ll find a buzzing atmosphere and great value food. Whatever time you visit you’ll find a menu packed with fresh produce and plenty of specials.

Want to head outside the student union? You’ll find lots of options in Glasgow city centre. You don’t have to wander far to find tastes from all over the world. Go to Thairiffic for Thai, Café Antipasti for Italian and Kama Sutra for Indian. For a great Scottish steak, head to Mini Grill.

Getting to Glasgow School of Art
Located in central Glasgow, there are lots of transport options that will get you to GSA.

By car
You can park in the the streets surrounding the School of Art with a voucher. If spaces are limited, there are also plenty of public car parks nearby on Cambridge Street, Dundasvale and Sauchiehall Street.

By bus
With lots of bus routes running through the city centre, the north and south sides of the river are well connected. Get on the 3, 23, 23A, 24, 25, 36, 38, 39, 54, 55, 56, 89, 90 or 121 and you’ll hop off near the GSA.

By train
If you’re arriving by train, take the Argyle Line to the SECC Exhibition Centre station. If you’re walking from there, it will take you 20 minutes to arrive at the School of Art.
