Bars

With an extensive cocktail menu, a clean, futuristic bar and plenty of TVs for the football, On Broadway is a welcoming bar open until midnight every weekend. The Green Lanes venue to the south of Enfield also serves a decent range of food.

Heading up towards Enfield’s town centre, Taps Irish Bar is a lively, friendly bar that gets busy on weekends thanks to its music policy, good range of drinks and large screens showing football.

Sports fans might also enjoy The Meeting Bar and Restaurant opposite Cineworld Enfield. The main draw is the Thai food from the kitchen, but the bar also has several pool tables, large-screen TVs and a large terrace perfect for sundowners.

If you’re looking to cut some moves on the dancefloor or listen to current dance music, head to Bar Form, a cosy late-night bar and club open until 3am every weekend with guest DJs playing house music, commercial dance and R&B.

Pubs

If you’re staying at our London Enfield hotel, the closest recommended pub is Inn on the Park, a modern, spacious pub with a classic range of food and plenty of seating.

If you’re looking for a traditional pub with modern touches, The Beehive should have the answers. The newly refurbished country pub does a great line in home-cooked food and locally sourced ingredients, plus a wide range of real ales, spirits and cocktails and regular events like quiz nights and guest bands.

Similarly, The Cricketers is another venerable pub that’s been neatly modernised. The Victorian-era boozer now includes free Wi-Fi, a wide range of craft beers, ethical coffee and an extensive menu covering sharing platters, mains, burgers and an excellent dessert choice.

Over by Botany Bay you’ll find the Robin Hood pub, a vast Edwardian public house with a large food menu, beer garden and conservatory and plenty of snug rooms lit by roaring fires – perfect for winter.

The Jolly Farmers, a mile west of Enfield on Enfield Road, is more of the same, with a large heated terrace, cracking food menu covering sandwiches, Sunday lunch and even gluten-free options, plus several large car parks if you’re making the five-minute drive from our London Enfield hotel.
