With over 70 stores and hundreds of parking spaces, Kingsgate Shopping Centre is the main retail space in Dunfermline. The two-level shopping centre is home to a large Debenhams and high street classics, such as New Look, River Island, Topshop, Boots and Marks & Spencer. The centre has stores spanning fashion, footwear, jewellery, electrical items and more, as well as boasting several cafés and restaurants including the Pancake Place, Taste and the Italian Caffe. Getting Around
Just 15 miles away, Edinburgh Airport is the closest major travel hub for Dunfermline, with the journey taking around 25 minutes by car and just under an hour via the Stage Coach bus. Alternatively, you can get the tram from Edinburgh Airport and then catch a train from Edinburgh to the town, taking roughly 30 minutes. You can also make your journey even easier by staying the night before or after your flight at one of our hotels near Edinburgh Airport.
With regular services to Edinburgh, the Dunfermline Town Train Station is the perfect way to get into Scotland’s capital city, with regular departures every thirty minutes throughout the week.
