Pubs
If you’re looking for the local Wetherspoons, The Samuel Lloyd is part of Rockingham Park on Rockingham Road. It’s quite a large space, and serves as a good place to go for cheap drinks and fast pub grub.
If you don’t mind catching a cab, The Olde Three Cocks is a top pub in the nearby village of Brigstock and no more than a 15-minute drive from our Corby hotel. For starters, the staff are fantastic and really welcoming. It’s an old-world pub with a good selection of ales and tasty homemade food. Visit on a Sunday and enjoy the best carvery in the area.
The Shoulder of Mutton is the local pub of the historic, nearby village of Weldon. It’s a real CAMRA favourite and even brews its own beers, which – and we’re not being biased here – are superbly good. So too are the authentic Serbian dishes the landlord and landlady have placed on the pub’s menu of grub. If you can only visit one of our recommended pubs, make it the Shoulder of Mutton.
Other honourable mentions go to the spacious Everard Arms on Cottingham Road, which is a good option if you’re looking for somewhere to watch live sport, and the Spread Eagle pub with its beautiful beer garden and excellent location just a few minutes’ walk from our Corby hotel.

Bars
The Corby Cube is the most iconic building in town. It’s also home to one of your top nightlife options, Qube. It’s an easy-going bar, with a nice menu of food if you get peckish during the daytime, and a popular array of cocktails for the evening when it turns into one of the more bustling bars in Corby.
Why not tie it in with a visit to the Paletto Lounge, which is just a stone’s throw across George Street. It’s a colourful chain cafe and bar, which ticks all the boxes of good food, delightful drinks deals and a charming atmosphere. Visit for breakfast, or evening tapas and tequilas – it’s always a top choice.
