Getting Around

If you want to soak up the views from the top of Snowdon, but you don’t fancy suffering with aching legs the following morning, you can catch the Snowdon Mountain Railway from nearby Llanberis, and it’ll take you straight to the top. Caernarfon Railway Station is the town’s station. It’s the terminus of the Welsh Highland Railway, which runs to Porthmadog running through Beddgelert and the Aberglaslyn Pass, and is situated on St Helen’s Road. If you’re travelling by bus, Caernarfon Bus Station is on Pool Side and is served by Arriva Buses Wales.
