Europe’s biggest singing competition is just around the corner, and with 37 countries taking part, we wanted to do a little something extra for our guests coming in from overseas.
To make sure all our guests receive the warmest welcome across our Premier Inn hotels, our incredible team members have been busy learning key greetings in 37 languages! Our teams were given a guide on how to greet guests in languages including French, Spanish, Dutch, German, Czechia, Icelandic, Romanian, Latvian and many more. The handy guide even breaks down each greeting phonetically to help with pronunciation!
Halló, velkominn and bonne chance – our teams have been busy learning European greetings!
Our list of greetings includes:

Kerry Lawson, our Premier Inn Liverpool Regional Operations Manager, commented:
“Liverpool residents are extremely excited to be hosting the singing competition this year, and our team members are no exception. We are welcoming guests from all over the world and hope our greetings will help raise a smile and we can help celebrate and commiserate together. We hope our overseas guests agree that the competition is a great time to bring people together. Premier Inn is a great choice to stay at for events – from famous singing competitions to football and everything in between. Sleep is our thing – you might even say we’re a bit obsessed with it. Our super comfy beds help people rest easy – and wake ready to sing their hearts out.”
Best of all, we’ve printed out copies of our handy greetings guide across our hotels in Liverpool, so all our guests can get into the spirit of this exciting event in May.
