Since Bridgerton was released in December 2020, the show left many of us dreaming of Regency romances and pining for visits to stately homes.

To make those dreams a reality, more and more people are booking stays to follow in the footsteps of the Duke and Duchess, Lady Danbury and the Viscount of Bridgerton. With the launch of series two in the spring, there’s been more people than ever looking to visit the locations featured in the show, with many spots also featuring in other well-known period dramas.

  1. No.1 Royal Crescent and Bath Assembly Rooms, Bath Premier Inn Bath
    The Crescent was used for its famous Georgian architecture and features in several scenes in Bridgerton as the front of the Featherington’s residence as well as countless other period dramas, including Vanity Fair (2004) and The Duchess (2008) with the Assembly Rooms appearing in ballroom scenes in the drama.

  2. Holburne Museum of Art, Bath – Premier Inn Bath
    Takes on the role of Lady Danbury’s now famous residence as well as several ballrooms scenes from the series.

  3. Castle Howard, YorkshirePremier Inn York City Centre (Blossom St North)
    The location for Brideshead Revisited (2008, 1981) and the location for the Duke and Duchesses’ fictional home Clevedon House.

  4. Wilton House, WiltshirePremier Inn Salisbury South Milford
    The location for scenes from the earlier series of the Crown and the latest adaptation of Emma (2020) as well as the location for the Duke of Hastings residence.

  5. Hatfield House, HertsPremier Inn Hatfield
    The location for Shakespeare in Love, The Favourite, Enola Holmes and the Featherington’s Residence.

  6. Hampton Court Palace, LondonPremier Inn Kingston upon Thames
    Location for The Favourite, and also the fitting filming location Queen Charlotte’s residence in Bridgerton.

  7. Badminton House, Gloucestershire –  Premier Inn Bristol East (Emersons Green)
    A stone’s throw away from Prince Charles’ Highgrove makes Badminton House a perfect location to take on the role of the interiors for a number of scenes including the Duke of Hastings, Lady Danbury and the Duke and Duchess’ residences.

  8. Syon House, LondonPremier Inn London Kew
    Prior to Bridgerton, this impressive house has appeared in countless films and television programmes including Gosford Park, Vanity Fair as well as the upcoming Belgravia. It features as the interiors in the Duke of Hastings’ residence.

  9. Ranger’s House, London – Premier Inn London Lewisham
    The Wysteria covered home of the Bridgerton family, and an art museum in Greenwich.

  10. North Mymms Park, Herts – Premier Inn South Mimms
    Used to film several of the interior scenes in the Duke and Duchesses’ residence and open to the public.

  11. West Wycombe ParkPremier Inn High Wycombe Central
    The lake at this scenic National Trust site features in Bridgerton series two as the boating lake. As well as the landscaped grounds of the park and house, visitors can also enjoy the historical charm of West Wycombe village, surrounded by Chiltern’s countryside. Lined with cottages and inns dating from the 16th century, there are quaint gift shops to visit, village pubs and a pretty tearoom.

  12. Basildon ParkPremier Inn Reading (Caversham Bridge)
    Basildon Park is the location of the Featherington Ball in Bridgerton. Basildon Park is also the interior location for Grantham House, the family’s London residence in Downton Abbey. If that wasn’t enough, Basil Park has also appeared in Pride and Prejudice, with Keira Knightley and Matthew McFadyen's Lizzie and Mr Darcy dancing at a ball held in the dining room.
