"Poor"
First impressions on check in staff was very rude Room was extremely dark and dull for a family room, They did move us but tv did not work and with a child we needed it Moved us again and was ok but not a family room we paid for it was a standard room. mouldy bath plugs and curtains and dusty room.
"Comfortable stay, doing the basics well."
We stayed for a concert and picked the Cardiff Bay Premier Inn over the central one as we wanted the peace and quiet (and the nearby Bay looked lovely). Room was clean, check-in was quick and the breakfasts were good. Two minor niggles to note: - It's not obvious where to go for the next-door car park. We drove around twice before locating the entrance (even with the sat nav and directions). As most of the Bay is under construction, I hope this will be sorted out in the future. - It's a 20 minute walk into town. If you are going for the nightlife, arrange a taxi or book the in-town Premier Inn. There's also the option of a boat ride from the marina, or jumping on the train or bus.
"Pleasant weekend stay😃"
Great value, very clean and a super comfy bed. Good size room and very cheerful Staff members. Nice bar area also with comfy seating👍
"Food."
The overall experience from the bar staff is excellent apart from the kitchen staff. There is a lot of shouting and disagreement over meals. For example, the chef wouldn’t swap an item and by sounds of it refused to do the dish. Apart from is not a bad hotel.
"Lovely staff member, Teni"
Stayed at the hotel and had a lovely time, the hotel was lovely and clean with good facilities, I would like to say a huge thank you to Teni, what an incredible member of staff who went above and beyond to make me feel so very welcome, was always helpful and friendly with a lovely smile.
