Leeds / Bradford Airport hotel

Our overall experience at this hotel was one of disappointment. The room and bathroom (especially) is tired and desperately in need of a refurbishment. The bathroom had lots of mould on the ceiling, with peeling paint across the ceiling and on some walls. The bath shower was dirty, and in need of a deep clean. It definitely fell below the standards we have come to expect from Premier Inn's across the UK. When ordering food at the attached restaurant the experience didn't improve. It was 40 minutes after ordering i went up to enquire if there was a reason for the delay to which i was informed that the kitchen wasn't aware of the order as the ticket hadn't been put through to them. The hotel is conveniently placed very close to the airport which was the reason for our stay. By the time we had arrived and properly settled it was 9pm in the evening, and we were out by 3am, so the issues we had were hardly worth complaining about at the time...not that we could when checking out as there was nobody at the desk. It's unlikely we will be back to this Premier Inn. If you choose to visit, don't expect it to be a great experience...however if you are looking to stay somewhere close to the airport then you won't find somewhere closer.

What makes this hotel stand out is Andrew (Andy Pandy) on reception. I thought I'd booked a room - I hadn't! It was late in the evening and I was exhausted. Plus, my phone was dead. Andrew went out of his way to book me out a room at a decent rate, charge my phone (so I could pay), and sorted out my car parking. He is worth his weight in gold!!!!

We have used Premier Inn numerous times, in various locations. As we were flying from Leeds/Bradford airport we thought it would be ideal to say here. Very disappointing, would not use again or recommend. Although the room was clean it was not up to Premier Inn standard. The real eye opener/let down was the bar /restaurant. Didn't open until 17:00 and the menu was extremely limited. Also had to eat in the bar area as the restaurant only opened for breakfast. The whole place needed a good refurbishment. The one saving grace was the amazing barmaid who on her own, manned the bar and served the meals and cleared away.

Bedroom was very comfortable. Bathroom was disappointing and tired and needs freshening up. Check in was a little slow as no self check in options available despite it being quiet.
