    "Unbearably hot room"
    The room was unbearably hot around 28-30 degrees slightly less at night; and also very humid. The room provided was right above the restaurant; there was no air conditioning in the room; only in the restaurant and the window could only open a tiny bit. There was one fan in the room; I was provided a second one after pleading the manager. The hallway immediately outside the room smelled of hash which made me feel sick and the children too. When I asked for another room the same evening we arrived; we were told that this would be possible but we should speak with the manager the following morning at 7am which we did. He said that the hotel is full; and that was pretty much it. It was so bad that we didn’t return until the following evening at 10pm as I couldn’t bear the thought of staying another night in that room. Really, this room should not be given to guests as it is not possible to stay or sleep comfortably in it. Wouldn’t stay there again. When asked if I complain I was told to ring a number the following Monday lol
    "Let’s go back 20 years"
    No value for money. If you want to go back 20 years ago then this would be perfect for you.Dont expect a good shower, the water pressure is shocking.Overall experience not great.
    "Comfortable stay with friendly helpful staff."
    Large comfortable clean room. At over 70 I'm not a fan of over the bath showers but I should have asked if there were any rooms with just a shower when I booked. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Added a meal deal to the booking and again staff were very helpful and friendly, there were a couple of items on the menu that were not available and had not been for some time, so had to go with a third choice.
    "Great staff but needs a refurb..."
    This isn't the nicest Premier Inn that we've stayed in, it definitely needs a refurb... BUT the staff were great and the breakfast was really lovely and the location was brilliant, so for that fact I would definitely recommend this Premier Inn 🤩
    "Standard Premier"
    We tend to choose Premier Inns because you know what you are getting and the grandchildren, when with us, love the breakfast. This is a standard Premier with a BeefEater next door, accessible through an internal door which is handy. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we have done this enough times to know how it operates, even the car parking. What we have noticed is that maintenance standards appear to be falling. There were a couple of out of order signs in reception. Our bathroom extractor fan was noisy, not enough to complain about for one night but just a niggle. Some Premiers are now appearing a bit tired. Whilst these are challenging times for the hospitality industry it is competitive. Travel Lodge are bit basic and Holiday Inn slightly more expensive but Premier,as a brand, need to watch out. As I said, at this Premier the staff were good, in hotel and restaurent, but it is lookiong a little tired.
