      "3 day break to catch up with friends"
      We stayed for 3 nights. The 2nd night we had invited some friends to join us for dinner . The staff pulled out all the stops to make our evening a good experience and it was. Despite being short staffed our 3 night stay was very nice. OK the food is not cordon bleu but it was tasty hot and we'll presented. All in all a great stay and would certainly come again. Thankyou to the staff for their kind attention
      "Cycle touring trip with friends"
      Although the bed and pillows are often promoted on media, they are not suitable for everyone. Providing slimmer type pillows would be a big bonus. The bed was fine.
      "Not usual Prem Inn standard"
      Great location for local attractions, ample parking but as its council owned its not free. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout, room was clean as was bathroom, would give this hotel 4 stars were it not for pillows and mattress, both in need of replacement but a shame as normally Prem Inn beds are super comfy. Only other gripe was smell of sewage coming from sink on second night, also noticed this smell slightly near continental selection area at breakfast, shame as overall hotel was very clean.
      "What you expect"
      Well located and exactly what you expect. Pro for rooms is that they all have air con, downside they have the bath/shower curtain combo that is being replaced by walk in showers in some Premier Inns. Large council owned car park is free overnight and modest cost during the day.
      "Great staff"
      Recently stayed the night while attending a concert down the road ,and was greeted and looked after very warm and welcoming,happy at reception as well as happy behind the bar and taking our food order . 5 stars
