      "Excellent service and stay!"
I had a great stay at the Premier Inn in Childer Thornton. The service was excellent from start to finish—staff were friendly, attentive, and really went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. A special mention to the manager, Matt, who was especially welcoming and professional. His attention to detail and genuine care made the experience even better. Highly recommend this location for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
"A Warm Welcome and a Clean, Comfortable Stay"
Had a fantastic stay at Premier Inn, and Matt made all the difference. He was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout. The room was spotless — clearly a lot of care goes into keeping the place clean and comfortable. It’s rare to see that level of attention to detail these days. Matt is a real credit to the team. Thanks again for a great stay!
      "Friendly, Caring & Helpful Staff."
Friendly & Amazing Staff, helping over the phone before arrival. And always there throughout our stay to help & talk too. A little costly, but may be due to Title Parade. Breakfast was hit & miss. No Bacon & Mushrooms left at 09:30 on second morning. Overall a good stay & would use again.
      "Premier? Not on this showing…"
Pros: The room was clean & tidy. The shower was excellent & towels decent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: The room’s bathroom smelled strongly of stale urine which was very unpleasant. The air circulation system was noisy all night making it hard to sleep. The room was too hot and the window latch loose. The bed was too soft and sufficient pillows were not provided. The hairdryer had a loose connection. The restaurant had obviously failed to get in sufficient supplies (despite being booked up for months) as breakfast items were unavailable. The quality of those breakfast items that were available was not great - tasted cheap and were poorly cooked, despite being cooked to order - probably due to being understaffed from appearances.
      "Thoroughly enjoyed two-night minibreak"
Thoroughly enjoyed two-night minibreak. On arrival staff friendly and welcoming, dealt with booking in quickly and efficiently. Room comfortable and plenty of space for everything. There is no air conditioning (which Childer Thornton webpage states quite clearly), but the window easily opened. Heating permanently set at 19.5, warm enough for the time of year. Bathroom clean and tidy, decent size bath with overhead rain showerhead (if you prefer not to get your hair wet every time you shower you will need a shower cap). It does say on the webpage that the restaurant has limited availability, so booking with reception is sensible. Food freshly prepared and delicious, staff attentive and efficient, and good table spacing, made for a pleasant evening meal on Sunday. Breakfast cooked and continental was 'Made to Order' rather than 'Buffet Style' on this occasion (possibly due to numbers?) but nonetheless was plentiful and excellent. Outside ample parking, though you do appear to be coming in the back entrance. An excellent garden centre right next door, Burleydam Garden Centre. Childer Thornton is a charming village with some very old buildings (one of the pubs was a stagecoach stop between Chester and New Ferry in the 1770s). All in all a lovely little holiday.
