"Great location not a great room "
Great location terrible room Location is spot on and room.was remarkable quiet. Very hot , with window opening just a tiny bit. Check in was a machine that didn't work , took 2 times. We had no shower gel (just empty bottle) asked twice but nobody delivered any. A pizza box and takeaway was in the floor outside room next to ours for the 2 days we stayed. .breakfast was not that good ,things had ran out, and buffet was not that good either. Would I stay again no. I think they need to train the cleaners a bit more.
"Family break"
The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that the location was great. Upon checkin we found the self service check in machines useless, after paying my money for the room it wouldn't activate room keys so I spent 20 minutes waiting for staff to help me access my room keys. There was a queue of atleast 10 people waiting for help. On first inspection the room looked ok but when I pulled out the pull-out bed from underneath the double bed it was absolutely filthy, so thick with dust you could write your name in it. I asked the cleaning lady in the corridor if she would mind cleaning it and she gladly did, but I was surprised she wasnt shocked at the state of it she threw on top of it and hoovered it. I took videos of how dirty it was. We had a 3 night stay and not once was the room cleaned and if you wanted fresh towels you had to ask reception but no point as they are never there. The electricity kept going on and off in our room so i had to put a peice if cardboard in the card thing beside the door as we coulent watch tv our even charge our phones. The service in the bar was terrible. The bar staff are also on reception so you could be waiting a while depending on what service you need. There is no cleaning staff on a regular basis, there was a pizza box on the floor near our room for 3 days before it was removed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It was the first premier inn I stayed in and I'd hate to think they are all the same.
"Ruined"
Check in at the self service machine is a joke, error messages on every screen customers are using, no one on hand to help. Breakfast was ruined as the bacon and sausage were overcooked, fried eggs were undercooked, mushrooms had a funny taste. Beans and tomato were ok. Bedroom needs to be checked after'cleaning' packet of tablets by the bed !!! Really disappointed with this hotel was looking forward to my stay and looking forward even more to a nice big breakfast, both ruined
"Good central location"
A good central location with easy parking at the Q Park 2 minutes walk away. The only issue I had was checking in. They wanted to charge £15 to check in even 10 minutes early before 15:00. No one wants to pay that, having no flexibility with the fee means at 15:00 check is a nightmare. Lots of people waiting to check in using machines that are not the easiest to use. No staff to assist with checking in until another customer fetched someone to help. Give the staff flexibility to allow early check ins for free if the room is ready. It puts a smile on people faces, is zero cost to Premier Inn and makes a better customer experience. Sort it out premier inn.
""
The hotel was absolutely fine, what made our stay great was the several staff members who went above and beyond- sorting out room allocation & fixing an issue with our keycards in a very friendly and efficient way. A special thank you to Alistair, who sorted out gluten free breakfasts for the kids & helped us store and collect our luggage after we'd checked out. He was unwaveringly friendly, polite and efficient & he really could not have done more to help us, an absolute top-notch member of staff . He put a big smile on all of our faces, thank you, Alistair.
