"Good room shame about the pub"
Preston North has been recently renovated and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The new walk in showers are a big improvement. We were aware that this property doesn’t have air con, but they do provide a fan which was welcome in the recent hot weather. Friendly staff and a warm welcome. Only disappointment was that after arriving at 2130 after a long hot drive, you’d expect to be able to get a pint in the attached pub, however the pub had closed up by the time we had dropped our bags and that was only 10 mins later. Lucky there’s The White Bull over the road which was open and served up a refreshing pint after a long day on the road.
"Nice hotel"
Arrived at the hotel we had an early check in that was no problem then I had to pay with a Visa card as it was a German visa it would come up German or English unknown to us we had to press No one but wasn’t told we had to press No1 because it didn’t prompt you so we were there for twenty minutes till the receptionist realised we had to so I think better training so that people with European Visa cards are not left standing there for over twenty minutes otherwise we had a nice couple of days the breakfast was served in the Pub next door and was very nice bed was very comfy and the rainfall shower was great but please get your check in sorted for your European guests
"Very happy experience"
We had two stop overs at Premiere Inn which were excellent, and we ate at the attached Roebuck restaurant. The service there was also excellent and in particular we would like to mention the Chef Jemy who was under great pressure to cater for not just the regular staying guests, but those who came in without bookings i.e. a party of 12 or 14. To serve those at breakfast was just one young lady, Amy and she coped amazingly greeting customers, taking orders, setting up tables, and serving the food, all with a smile and so polite. They both deserve a medal.
"Comfortable clean room"
Had great stay room spotlessly clean and bathroom. Bed super comfortable lovely bedding the fan in room was very helpful as it was very warm great night sleep the roebuck bar resteraunt right there atmosphere great and food good. Will be back
"Staff are so helpful ☺️"
Spoke to Sarah the day before our trip to arrange an early check in. Sarah was extremely helpful and remembered my details upon arrival. She was very welcoming and accommodating to our request. The hotel is very clean and was just refurbished earlier this year. We were given a large family room which was extremely comfortable for us. Breakfast at The Roebuck was great definitely a reflection on the new management. We will be back shortly.
