"Quite ok, good location!"
Good location even though a traditional tip is not to stay close to railway stations. Hotel is ok but worn. Breakfast is good. Friendly staff. The one we met. Room worn but ok. Cleaning ok but far from spotless. Parfumed corridors. AC good! Would say that rating is more somewhere between 3,25-3,5.
"Terrible check in process with room issues, 4th lucky, loud, staff don't seem to care"
Took 4 attempts of leaving reception (huge queue at 3pm) to go up to a room and either find 1) the room key didn't work 2) the room key still didn't work 3) the re allocated room didn't have enough beds 4) we finally were given a room (room 238) that seemed ok (bathroom not as good as other premier inns but ok) The queuing to get a room sorted after you've already queued and staff who really couldn't care less was far from a good welcoming experience. That night the noise from the street was very loud. Not great for a family room at all. To top it off we left a charger in the room. Have tried to call lost property since. Gave up after no answer for a week.
"Excellent stay at Premier Inn London King’s Cross — unbeatable location"
I had a wonderful stay at Premier Inn London King’s Cross. The location is perfect—just steps away from the station, which made getting around London incredibly easy. Despite being in such a central area, my room was very quiet and spotlessly clean, creating a calm and restful environment. The mattress was exceptional—easily one of the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. I slept better here than I have in most places I’ve stayed. The staff were warm, friendly, and professional throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, they made everything smooth and welcoming, and they were always happy to assist with any questions. If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be the addition of a few extra in-room amenities like a mini fridge or complimentary bottled water, which would make the stay even more convenient. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.
"Would stay again."
Booked this Premier Inn after a hefty journey back from our holiday. We book Premier Inn as we know what we are getting. Great location which was just what we needed. Not the best one we’ve stayed in but definitely not the worst. The room was clean, beds comfortable and spacious. We ate at the restaurant in the evening, food was good and reasonably priced. We had breakfast the following morning too as this was included. Pleased overall with our stay.
"Mouldy room, poor customer service"
Disappointing stay. We’ve stayed in Premier Inns all over the country, as we know what we’re getting, and a family room works for us. In London we’ve previously stayed in Blackfriars, Holborn and the South Bank locations - this is not our first rodeo. Location of this hotel was perfect for this trip, but room 167 was grimy. There was mould on the bathroom ceiling, mould all over the curtains right next to one of the children’s beds, and rubbish under the double bed left from a previous stay. We discovered all of this as we arrived back in the room late at night, so sucked it up for our one night stay rather than have to get the kids back out of bed for a room move. We pointed out the mouldy curtains as we checked out, to be met by literal silence and a shrug. Not a ‘sorry’ or a ‘thanks so much for letting us know’ or a ‘we will get housekeeping onto it’, any of which I’d have been okay with. Silence and a shrug. Customer service really lacking and a very disappointing stay.
