Hotels in Charing Cross

Officially the central point of Central London, Charing Cross is, unsurprisingly, smack bang in the middle of some of the capital’s top spots. And the same goes for our Charing Cross hotels. With the river, Whitehall, Covent Garden and way more on its doorstep, there’s no chance of running out of things to see and do.

What to do in Charing Cross

The National Gallery
Housing over 2300 works of art by the likes of Monet, Cezanne, Rubens and van Gogh, the National Gallery is one of London’s most popular cultural attractions. Visit it and you’ll see why.

National Portrait Gallery
The National Portrait Gallery is the second national gallery near our Charing Cross hotels. As you’d expect, it features an excellent collection of portrait art - from faces you’ll know, to ones you’ll want to know more about.

Trafalgar Square
Popular with pigeons and tourists alike, Trafalgar Square is iconic London. Tick Nelson’s Column, the Fourth Plinth, the lions and fountains off your ‘to do’ list.

Covent Garden
Covent Garden’s cobbled streets, street entertainers, elegant architecture and to-die-for shopping is literally across the road from Charing Cross.

West End theatres
Take your pick from a musical or play at the Adelphi Theatre, Vaudeville Theatre and Novello Theatre. Or perhaps at night of ballet and opera at the Coliseum, home of the English National Opera (ENO), might interest you.
