If you like shopping, Barrow-in-Furness is said to be one of the best retail destinations in the north west, with high-street names and independent shops set in a spacious pedestrianised town centre. There’s also market hall, which has over 80 stalls to browse. And when you’re shopped out, enjoy the town’s lively nightlife (it’s reputedly the best in the county!).
