FAQs
Bristol Airport has just the one terminal, though it’s a modern building made up of two floors, multiple passenger piers and six departure gates.
There are no free shuttle services, but regular Air Connect and Falcon shuttle buses runs from our Bristol Airport hotels to Bristol Airport regularly throughout the day, with a journey time of between 10-30 minutes. Single tickets cost between £6.50 to £14 for an adult single.
There are no designated sleeping areas at Bristol Airport. Bristol Airport is relatively small, so there are fewer chairs and while they’re fine when you’re waiting for a flight, they’re quite uncomfortable for sleeping on. If you need somewhere to stay after a long flight or you need to make an early flight in time, we recommend booking at our Bristol Sidcot (A38) hotel instead for rooms at great-value prices and a super comfy bed to sleep on, only a 15-minute drive or taxi from the airport.
Bristol Airport is open all night, along with a number of shops.
Our Premier Inn Bristol South hotel is about nine miles from Bristol Airport, around a 15-minute drive or 25 minutes on the A4 Air Decker and Falcon shuttle buses.

Bristol was voted the best place to live in the UK for a reason. Bristol has great spaces for walks like Eastville Park, Ashton Court and mesmerising views of the city from Brandon Hill. You’ll find designer brands and high street retail outlets at Cabot Circus shopping centre in the heart of town, with more independent and artistic shops at Stokes Croft. Find all the best places to see in our guide to Bristol.
If you need to buy any last-minute must-haves for your flight, or you want to take a look through the duty-free deals, Bristol Airport has a range of shops including top beauty labels and high street fashion names. Most shops can be found after passing through security, including its World Duty Free lines.
